Truck Damages Utility Pole In State Road Crash

A truck crash damaged a utility pole and closed a portion of State Road in Bristol Township’s Croydon section Thursday afternoon.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 2 p.m. on State Road between Veterans Highway and River Road.

No serious injuries were reported.

PECO was on the scene and planned to replace the damaged utility pole.

Bristol Township Fire Police were directing traffic while tow crews removed the crashed truck and debris.
