The police activity on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road where it passes through county park property Tuesday afternoon was related to a death investigation.
Middletown officers and detectives and Bucks County Rangers were investigating an apparent suicide in a vehicle parked on a small gravel parking area near the baseball fields at Chickenfoot Park between Trenton and Woodbourne roads.

Emergency responders were called to the scene for a reported gunshot wound.
A white sheet covered the older car’s interior from public view and police units surrounded the scene.
