The Croydon Shopping Center in Bristol Township was damaged by fire Wednesday night.
Firefighters were alerted to an active alarm at Sarappo’s Pizza around 10 p.m. Upon arrival, Croydon Fire Company Chief Tom Tryon pulled up on scene along Route 13 and found flames and smoke coming from the cockloft and front soffit of the laundromat next to the pizzeria.

Additional fire companies from Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Bensalem rushed to the scene along with the Bucks County Rescue Squad.
Crews worked to put down the flames and shut down Route 13 as they stretched water lines from fire hydrants across the street.
Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the fire started outside the building and extended up to the cockloft above the laundromat. The exact cause remains under investigation.
Sarappo’s Pizza and several surrounding stores suffered smoke damage, Dippolito said.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
Dippolito said he is looking to speak with two people who were in the laundromat between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Fire police closed Route 13 to traffic in the area of the fire.
