A Bristol Township man is accused of exposing himself inside a Wawa last Friday evening.

Bristol Township police were called to the Wawa at Route 13 and Green Lane around 6:50 p.m. for the report of a man running naked.

An officer arrived and saw two men face-to-face. He thought the two were about to fight and put Anthony Thomas Clayborn, 28, in handcuffs, placing him in the back of his patrol vehicle, according to court papers.

Police said Clayborn had only pants on and was not wearing underwear.

An officer spoke to a Wawa customer who said Clayborn exposed his penis inside the store. The customer said people were hiding their frightened children during the incident.

Clayborn was suspected of being under the influence and was rambling about “people chasing him with guns in the parking lot,” police said.

“They are going to start shooting,” he allegedly said in front of police.

Clayborn further asked the officers if they saw the people who were going to start shooting.

Clayborn was arraigned late last Friday night on charges of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, open lewdness, and public drunkenness. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $20,000 bail.
