Two Levittown-area towns will be holding National Night Out events Tuesday evening.
In Bristol Township, the police are hosting their first-ever National Night Out event at the Municipal Complex on Bath Road from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The department plans to have vendors, moon bounces, emergency vehicles on display, face painting, officer and K-9 demonstrations, and food and other treats.

Middletown, who has been hosting National Night Out since 2015, will have vendors, community groups, family-friendly activities, police station tours, and demonstrations from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. outside the Municipal Center on Municipal Way. As a fundraiser for the department’s annual Shop With A Cop event, police will be selling T-shirts for a $5 donation and $3 for kids.
The National Night Out event has grown in popularity in Middletown and draws as many as 2,000 people. Parking for the festivities at the Municipal Center is permitted at the Shoppes of Flowers Mill Shopping Center.
Bensalem and Morrisville will also host National Night Out events Tuesday. Bensalem’s will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Municipal Complex on Byberry Road, and Morrisville’s event will take place at Williamson Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

National Night Out is designed to foster the relationship between local police departments and the community they serve.
