It’s going to be a busy week for PennDOT crews and contractors working on several projects in Lower Bucks County.
Running Tuesday and Wednesday during the overnight hours, Route 1 northbound drivers could encounter intermittent lane closures between I-95 and the Oxford Valley interchange in Falls, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships for work related to the ongoing safety improvement project. The work is weather dependent and expected to cause some delays.

The intermittent lane closures are part of a months-long $2.3 million project to improve safety on the highway between Route 13 and the Oxford Valley interchange.
All week from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., temporary lane closures are scheduled on both directions of I-95 between the Newtown and Route 1 interchanges for guide repair work. Similar work will take place at the same times between the Academy Road in Philadelphia and Bristol interchange in Bristol Township.
On Tuesday, right lane closures are scheduled on Route 1 at the Route 13 interchange in Falls Township for bridge inspections.
