Flames shot from a Fairless Hills home Friday afternoon.
Falls Township Fire Company Chief Jim Jones said the first arriving flame busters pulled up around 2 p.m. to find heavy fire in the attic of the home at Beaumont and Dunedin roads.

Firefighters went to work with hand lines and began venting the roof of the dwelling to fight the flames, the chief said.
The flames were mainly contained to the attic but heat, water, and smoke damage was throughout the home, Jones said.

Multiple neighbors called 9-1-1 to report the fire, which drew the Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Edgely, Levittown No. 1, Levittown No. 2, and William Penn fire companies.
