A federally-funded program at the Levittown branch of the Bucks County Free Library will offer free lunches to kids this summer.

The library on County Way in Bristol Township will service lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. starting June 18 and ending August 1. Those who participate must be 18 years old and younger.

Children are free to take part in the program and not have to apply or register for meals through the program.

The lunches are offered through the U.S. Department of Agricultureย Summer Food Service Program that makes sure kids who come from low-income areas can receive nutritious meals while school is out for summer.

The Bensalem branch of theย Bucks County Free Library will also offer free lunches at the same times and days as the Levittown location.
