New Neighborhood Signs Going Up Across Bristol Twp.

Public works crews have spent the past few weeks putting up new neighborhood signs throughout Bristol Township.

The township is working to put up the 104 new signs throughout the various sections. Of the 104 signs, 63 signs are going up in the township’s Levittown section.

“This is a project that I have been looking forward to since Council appropriated the money to beautify the township,” Council Vice President Cindy Murphy said.

The hard plastic signs feature gold lettering and a blue background. The new signs have a wood and plastic base and replace old the signs.

“The old signs were outdated and just not visually attractive,” Murphy said.

The Council approved the new signs last year and awarded the $92,999 contract to Printing Lab.

The project is expected to be finished by October.
