Large Simon & Schuster Property Sells For $11.1 Million

Bristol Borough Council announced the sale of the 23-acre property where Simon and Schuster has operations.

The property, located at 2099 Radcliffe Street, comes to a total of $11.1 million, according to Borough Manager James Dillon.

The property was purchased by River Group Equities LLC. The company is based out of New York, Dillon said.

Simon and Schuster will remain in the building until June 2018 when the company’s lease on the property ends. The building will continue to serve as a storage center and warehouse until that time, Dillon said.

Simon and Schuster has used the facility since the 1970s.

In 2008, a former employee came into the warehouse and shot two employees dead.
