A candlelight vigil was held Thursday evening to remember a Pennsbury High School senior who passed away recently.
The students remembered Kyle Valdez of Falls Township, who passed away Sunday. He was 18-years-old and was an honor student at the high school.

Valdez’s cause of death was not released at Thursday’s school board meeting, but his untimely passing was noted.
“Kyle was an amazing person and he always had the kindest words to say to others,” Ngakiya Camara, a student representative, told the school board.
“He was just so selfless,” she added.

“Our condolences go out to Kyle’s family and the entire senior class who lost a friend,” Pennsbury School Board President Jacqui Redner said.
Services for students who need to talk are available through the high school.
An obituary said Valdez enjoyed karate, snowboarding, composing music, cars, and was a scuba diver.
