More than a hundred flushometers at Bristol Township’s three new elementary schools will be replaced.
The replacement of the flushometers and senors for the more than 100 urinals and toilets split between the elementary schools will come at no cost for the Bristol Township School District. Plumbers hired by Sloan USA will work to replace the defective products at the elementary schools at night, said Bob Maloney, the operations director for the Bristol Township School District.

District maintenance employees noticed the batteries for the flushometers and sensors were burning out at a rate several times faster than anticipated. It was happening so fast that manufacture Sloan USA began providing replacement parts at no cost to the district, Maloney said.
District staff tracked the problem and has been in communication with Sloan USA to resolve the problem, Maloney said.
