A Levittown couple were involved in a head-on crash that killed a boy.
The wreck happened last Saturday at 9:28 p.m. along Street Road outside of Davisville Church in Upper Southampton. A vehicle traveling eastbound, which was driven by a Levittown man with his wife in the passenger seat, and a vehicle operated by a Warminster woman headed westbound collided head-on, police said.

The Warminster woman’s 8-year-old son was in the rear seat of her vehicle and was found unconscious when officers arrived on the scene, police said.
The officers were able to perform life-saving measures on the boy until the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad were able to arrive and stabilize him. He was taken to Abington Hospital and later Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, police said.
The Levittown residents did not suffer life-threatening injuries and the boy’s mother was treated at Abington Hospital after firefighters freed her from the vehicle, police said.

The crash is being investigated by Upper Southampton police and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office with assistance from the county accident investigation team.
