Road work on I-95 southbound is slated to take place this week.
Double lane closures are scheduled for the southbound lanes between the Bristol Exit and Street Road Exit in Bensalem overnights starting Monday and continuing through Friday. The lane closures will take place from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The work will include patching operations and bridge deck repair as part of the larger repair and resurfacing project taking place on I-95 between Bensalen and Lower Makefield, PennDOT officials said.
As in recent weeks with similar closures, backups are expected to happen along I-95 in the area of the work. This week’s work is weather dependent.
The project is being completed by James J. Anderson Construction Company Inc. in Philadelphia.
