A short police chase that started in Bristol Borough ended in Bristol Township on Presidents’ Day.
According to borough authorities, an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Bristol resident Jamal Marquis Law at Jefferson Avenue and Spring Street Monday around 3:37 p.m. However, Law did not stop and drove through the borough and across Route 13 in Bristol Township.

Police said that while in the township, Law fled his vehicle on foot and was taken into custody a short time later.
Law was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, driving with suspended license, failure to stop at a red signal and duties at a stop sign.
Law was arraigned by on-call District Judge Daniel Finello Jr. and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
