Car Strikes Building Along West Lincoln Highway

A Valentine’s Day evening crash left a business damaged.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at Noeland Avenue and West Lincoln Highway in Penndel Wednesday evening.

Two cars collided as one turned onto Noeland Avenue from West Lincoln Highway. The other vehicle skidded along West Lincoln Highway outside of Burger King and crashed into the front of Denney Electric Supply, damaging the front and striking a metal bollard.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

The damage to the storefront did not appear serious.

Police said they are investigating speed as a possible factor in the crash.

The Penndel Fire Company was called to the scene of the wreck to assist.
