Man Wearing Fake Beard Robs Bank

A robber wearing a fake brown beard hit a Bristol Township bank Thursday morning.

Police confirmed the Wells Fargo Bank at the Fairless Hills Shopping Center on South Oxford Valley Road was robbed around 10:30 a.m.

The suspect walked into the bank wearing the fake brown beard and turned a demand note over to a clerk. A weapon was implied but not displayed, police said.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash in an older, dark blue Buick LeSabre, police said.

The suspect was described as a stocky 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-4 black male between 270 and 330 pounds. He had a wide nose and wore a blue knit cap, blue quilted jacket and a pair of black gloves.
