The driver – Louis Frank Branco, 34, of Langhorne – attempted to elude police on Bellevue Avenue in the pre-dawn hours and turned onto side streets. He also did not use the vehicle’s lights, police said.
Officers caught up to Branco and took him into custody.
He was arraigned last Monday by District Judge Daniel Baranoski on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple other traffic offenses. Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 bail and later reduced to 10 percent of $2,000.
