A Levittown man has been charged nearly a year after a crash in Bristol Borough.

According to the probable cause affidavit, by the time responding officers arrived on the scene, the damage was done and three vehicles were damaged. Two travelers in one of the cars were being tended by first responders and one of the individuals had to be freed via mechanical means. That person required additional medical attention.

Montgomery was the operator of one of the cars. When investigators arrived on the scene, Montgomery was acting combative towards responders, according to police.

As Montgomery was beginning to calm down, he was ushered into a squad car, police said.

Investigators noted they could smell alcohol on Montgomery. The Levittown man admitted to police that he had been drinking and voluntarily submitted for a blood test, court documents said.

Montgomery was charged with two felonies of aggravated assault with a vehicle, misdemeanors relating to driving under the influence and a summary charge of reckless driving.

The 32 year old was arraigned Friday by District Judgeย Frank Peranteau Sr. and released on $30,000 unsecured bail.
