PennDOT maintenance crews and contractors will take to state roads starting Monday to fill potholes that have opened up in the first weeks of winter.
The crews will be hitting state roads and highways around the Commonwealth, including Lower Bucks County.

“Extreme fluctuations in temperatures coupled with an active snow season is causing an early outbreak of potholes in the Philadelphia region, especially on older roadway surfaces,” said PennDOT District 6 Executive Kenneth M. McClain. “We encourage the public to report pothole locations to our toll-free number or online, so crews can schedule repairs as quickly as possible.”
Below are the list of roads that crews will focus on in Lower Bucks County:
- I-95
- Route 1
- Lincoln Highway
- New Ford Mill Road
Potholes on state roads can be reported to PennDOT 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on “Submit Roadway Feedback.”
