The three juvenile defendants have been charged in the thefts and one has pleaded guilty, police said.

According to court papers, Fernandez admitted to thefts from vehicles in Levittown.

Police noted they caught onto Fernandez as a suspect after his mother called them because she reportedly found the 19-year-old was smoking marijuana in her apartment. When police arrived and investigated, they discovered items that they suspected were stolen. A further search warrant was executed and stolen items were allegedly recovered.
