Serious Injuries In Friday Afternoon Crash Along Veterans Highway

Four people were hurt in a Friday crash in Middletown’s Levittown section.

The crash happened just after noon and sent a Chevrolet SUV off the road and onto its side at Veterans Highway and Frosty Hollow Road. Firefighters had to remove the roof from the Chevrolet to free the two people inside.

The two people freed from the Chevrolet and two others in a black Hyundai SUV that had a smashed front-end were transported to the hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries, police said.

Officers were working to determine how the crash happened and were talking with witnesses.
