
A mishap with a large overhead sign caused major problems on I-95 early Wednesday morning.
The incident that shut down all lanes of the highway in both directions in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. The closure happened when a crane could not lift the massive structure and attached signs above the highway, which is being overhauled as part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike connector project, officials said.

The lanes remained closed for about two hours while the sign was removed from the travel lanes. Traffic was detoured at the Bristol and Bensalem exits.
All lanes were reopened before theย morning rush hour.
