Langhorne Man Killed In Freak Turnpike Incident

A 57-year-old man from Langhorne was killed Friday morning in a freak incident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Gregory Leiber was driving his 2016 Lincoln MKT along the eastbound lanes of the Turnpike in Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, when a piece of debris came over the concrete center median, flying through his windshield. The debris struck the 57-year-old.

Troopers said Leiber was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remained under investigation as of Friday afternoon.
