The United Artist Oxford Valley theater will have new owners as part of a $5.9 billion deal.

The 14-screen location on the Oxford Valley Mall property in Middletown is included in a deal by Cineworld, a British theater chain, to purchased Regal Entertainment Group. The deal was announced this week and includes Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres, a total of 7,300 screens, according to Variety.

There was no immediate word on whether the new owners plan any changes to the movie chain.

“We believe this partnership with Cineworld will enhance Regal’s ability to deliver a premium movie-going experience for customers and further build upon our strategy of introducing innovative concepts and premium amenities designed to enhance the value of our theatre assets,” said Amy Miles, CEO of Regal Entertainment Group.

The Oxford Valley theater has been in its location for years, but received an upgrade to stadium-style seating in 2001. An addition and expansion to add four screen was undertaken in the mid-2000s. Recently, the theater upgraded to higher-end reclining seats.
