Election Means Democrats Will Hold Majority On Penndel Council

Penndel Council will have five Democrats and two Republicans come January.

During Tuesday’s election, Democrats Louise Dicken and Laura Germain won their bids for four-year terms on Council and John Stratz and Beverly Wolfe were reelected to their seats. The Democrats beat out the three candidates who ran on the Republican ballot.

Incumbent Democratic Mayor Bob Winkler was reelected, beating Republican Mike Sodano.
