Broken glass and bullet casings littered the rear parking lot of the Levittown Trace Apartments Monday evening.

A man in his 20s was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment after suffering at least one gunshot wound around 7 p.m. at the Bristol Township apartment complex that sits off Ford Road, authorities said.
It appeared the man backed his Buick Encore, with a shattered window, into a dumpster and fence across the parking lot after being shot. Emergency responders arrived to find the man suffering from a bullet wound.
No arrests in the shooting had been made as of 8 p.m.

A neighbor told LevittownNow.com that they thought they heard a commotion in the area around 7 p.m.
Detectives and patrol officers searched the parking lot for evidence and took images of the bullet casings on the ground.
