State Police Take 44 Pounds Of Heroin, Six Pounds Of Fentanyl Off Streets

Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police confiscated around $7.4 million in illegal drugs last quarter.

Between July 1 and September 30, troopers sized $7,408,050 in heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines and other substances. They took around 44 pounds of heroin and six pounds of deadly fentanyl off the streets, state police said.

Since the beginning of the year, the state-wide police agency has seized more than $26.5 million in illegal drugs.
