Amid an opioid epidemic that is claiming the lives of Bucks County residents, police and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office will hold their bi-annual prescription and over-the-counter drug take-back day.
As part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, the countywide event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 50 collection sites will be open throughout the county, with numerous locations in the Levittown area.

The collection event gives residents a chance to safely get ride of unwanted, unused or expired medications that otherwise may end up being used illegally or in the public water system.
