The Bristol Township School District Foundation For Educational Excellence is funding 32 staff-developed projects.
The nonprofit organization that is run by a volunteer group of current and former school district employees said the projects will be funded by $14,107.31 of grant money.

“This year’s grant recipients represent staff members at all of the district’s schools and will offer a wide variety of enrichment activities to our students. Something new this year, the Foundation will be sponsoring dual enrollment scholarships which will allow some Truman High School Students to take courses through Bucks County Community College and earn college credits while still in high school,” according to a Bristol Township School District Foundation For Educational Excellence statement.
The foundation receives most of its funding through voluntary payroll contributions by current employees.

In addition, the Bristol Township School District Foundation For Educational Excellence will host the Delhaas Dash 5K and Tiger Run The Woods on Saturday, October 28. The event is held in partnership with Friends of Silver Lake Nature Center.
