Bristol Township police announced Tuesday evening that the student who used an app to phone in bomb threats to Harry S. Truman High School Monday morning was involved in a similar incident earlier this year.

The teenager is accused of being responsible for two bomb threats that were phoned in through the One Call Now app Monday morning shortly after classes began and later admitted involvement in another bomb threat in March. He made the admission after detectives tracked him through the app and spoke with him and one of his parents.

Police said the teenager will be processed through the juvenile court system. In an email, the district said they will also punish the student.

Classes on Monday remained on their normal schedule as authorities investigated the threats.
