Crews from the Bucks County Mosquito Control Program will conduct a spray operation to reduce the mosquito population in Falls Township and Middletown.
On Monday, Duet, a dual-action adulticide will be sprayed from a truck at a rate of 0.75 ounces per acre, in the Quincy Hollow neighborhood in Middletown and the Vermillion Hills section, as well as Beaumont, Auburn and Chatham roads and Dunedin Drive in Falls.

“The application material has a very low toxicity profile to mammals and will have negligible impact on non-target insects and the environment,” county officials said in a statement.
The spray is dependent on weather and a secondary date is Tuesday.
