A house in Bristol Township was damaged Sunday night by fire.
The home in the 1200 block of Marie Lowe Drive suffered damage when a candle caused a small blaze in the kitchen of the dwelling, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

When emergency responders arrived Sunday night, no one was in the home and it was unknown who was staying in the residence. Neighbors said the homeowner passed away about a year ago, Dippolito said.
The fire marshal condemned the house due to holes in the floor and a portion collapsing into the basement.
Police will be investigating who was staying the home and whether they had permission from the next-of-kin.
