The McCafferty dealership complex is expanding in Middletown.
Representatives for the dealership, which sits at the corner of Lincoln Highway and Woodbourne Road, received preliminary and final land development approval Monday evening from the Middletown Board of Supervisors to construct a new 9,300-square-foot structure where Ford trucks currently sit for sale.

The plans, which also include the destruction of a small structure, involve the construction of a separate showroom specifically for the Kia product. Representatives for the dealership noted that separate showrooms are required by the Kia brand.
Those representatives also noted that McCafferty is in need of a PennDOT highway occupancy permit since traffic coming out of the new Kia showroom will only be allowed to travel one way onto Lincoln Highway.
