
A driver was injured after plowing into a utility pole during rush hour Friday.
The crash happened between Summit Avenue and the twin rail road bridges along North Pine Street (Route 413) on the Langhorne and Middletown border.

Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry said the driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
About two dozen PECO customers lost power due to the crash that happened around 5 p.m. At least one customer lost their cable service.
Fire police closed busy North Pine Street between Winchester Avenue and Bridgetown Pike due to the wreck. As of 5:45 p.m., the road remained closed.
