Intermittent overnight lane closures on Route 1 north and south between Oxford Valley Road to the I-95 interchange in Falls and Middletown townships should be expected for Thursday night into Friday morning.
According to PennDOT, the overnight lane closures will take place between 7 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday as contractors work to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

Contractor James J. Anderson Construction Company Inc. of Philadelphia is handling the $29.6 million project, which is being paid for with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.
The scheduled work is weather dependent.
