Fire gutted the second floor and the first floor had heavy water damage, according to Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.
The cause of the fire appears to be accidental and started in the area of a fan in the second-floor, Dippolito said.
The Red Cross was called out to assist residents with temporary housing.
