NJ.com reported Wednesday that a 9-year-old student told authorities in May that Ciaccia had grabbed her inappropriately several times in December.
The girl, according to the article, did not report the incident to authorities until May over fears Ciaccia would give her bad grades if she told anyone.

An article from The Trentonian noted that Ciaccia was released from Mercer County custody Wednesday. The article quoted Ciaccia’s attorney, Nick C. Travisano, as stating the accuser was “lying” and noted their were numerous people at court in support of the 45 year old.
“I believe 100 percent Mr. Ciaccia is innocent,” Travisano told LevittownNow.com. He added that the fourth-grade teacher has 20 years of working with a “spotless” record.
Travisano said he has evidence the 9-year-old fabricated the story and told her peers.

Court records show Ciaccia has no serious past adult criminal history in Bucks County.
