Men Suffer Burns In Accidental Overnight Fire

Two men suffered burns following a late Monday night fire in Bristol Township.

The first man was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown and later transported to Temple University’s burn unit. The second man suffered burns and smoke inhalation. He was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 10:52 p.m. to the blaze on Brown Bark Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

The fire was contained to a mattress and an accident caused by smoking, Dippolito said.
