A number of Neshaminy High School seniors were honored earlier this week for their commitment to the community and their goal to improve the nation.
Graduating seniors committed to serving the armed forces were recognized Thursday afternoon in a ceremony. The event included the students’ families, recruitment officers, elected officials, administrators and the high school’s select choir.

Those honored: Air Force – Ryan Kane. Marine Corps – Dylan Applegate, Tyler Harvey, Brendan Rios. Navy – Gage Haberacker-Malott, Anthony Verrecchio. Army – Michael Bremser, Hailee Kanuck, Nichols Ruggero, Jeremy Shuster, Macey Smith, Michael Trujillo.
Earlier Thursday, The Detective Christopher Jones Foundation presented seniorย Madison Pomroy with an $8,000 scholarship. She plans to pursue a criminal justice career after attending West Chester University in the fall.
