Three area men have been arrested and charged with drug offenses after being stopped by Middletown police on Tuesday afternoon.

David Kazanjian, 21, of Langhorne, was charged with possession and a traffic related offense; Quentin Keller, 19, of Levittown, was charged with one felony and three misdemeanor drug charges; and Bobby Turner, 20, also of Levittown, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug possession.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Middletown police were on patrol in Levittown on Tuesday afternoon when they observed a silver Ford Mustang traveling southbound on Veterans Highway. The vehicle had a broken passenger headlight, as well as what appeared to be a broken passenger side window and door, which prompted a traffic stop by police at the intersection of Durham Road and Oakland Avenue.

Police noted in court documents that they immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and questioned the vehicle’s driver, Kaznjian, as well as its occupants, Keller and Turner, about the smell.

One of the vehicle’s rear passengers, Keller, told police he had marijuana and pulled out a large gray plastic shopping bag from under his shirt and handed it to police. The shopping bag contained a source bag which police say was filled with 108 grams of marijuana.

Court documents show that police then searched the vehicle and its occupants for additional marijuana.

A search of Turner uncovered a green plastic container with a white powder substance believed to be cocaine. A search of the vehicle uncovered a small pink pill believed to be Oxycodone where Keller was sitting, a clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine in Keller’s wallet, and more methamphetamine scattered throughout Kazanjian’s vehicle.

All three men were arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
