At 78, First-Time Candidate Wins Spot In Bristol Twp. School Board Race

The Bristol Township School Board could see at least two new faces depending on how voters cast their ballots in November.

While 78-year-old Barbara Bill, a Fairless Hills resident, isn’t new to school board meetings, she is starting her political career by winning a spot on the Republican ticket. Bill regularly attends school board and committee meetings the district holds.

Bill will be joined on the Republican ballot by incumbents Kellie Buchanan and Aaron Richardson and newcomer James Morgan running for the four-year term.

Current Board President Angela Nober, Buchman, Richardson and Morgan also won slots on the Democratic ticket for the four-year term.

The election for the seat with a two-year term will feature Gallus Obert on the Republican ballot and Buchanan on the Democratic side.
