One man was killed and another injured in a shooting that happened late Wednesday night in Morrisville Borough.
The shooting happened in the 500 block of Carlisle Drive near the intersection with Rennard Lane.

Morrisville Chief of Police George McClay said investigators were still working Thursday afternoon to identify the deceased man but were in the process of checking his fingerprints for a match.
Multiple residents in the area of the shooting said they heard several gunshots in quick succession around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
McClay said residents around the neighborhood had been questioned and were helpful, but two women connected to the home where the shooting happened have not cooperated with the investigation.

“No one is talking,” the chief said. “The other guy is awake and conscious but won’t say anything.”
No weapons were recovered from the scene, but police were preparing to search the house Thursday afternoon, McClay told LevittownNow.com.

Detectives and borough police were spotted sifting through insulation from a nearby home and using a metal detector to search for a bullet that may have stuck the residence.
