Crash Ties Up Traffic At Busy Intersection

A two-vehicle crash tied up traffic Thursday night at one of the area’s busiest intersections.

The crash happened at the intersection of Bristol-Oxford Valley and South Oxford Valley roads in Falls Township shortly before 9 p.m. Due to the wreck, traffic was a mess in the area for close to 30 minutes.

Debris from the Saturn VUE SUV and Toyota sedan involved in the crash was strewn about the roadway. After the collision, the Toyota ended up coming to rest against a utility pole.

Police said no serious injuries were reported, but the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad did send a rig.

Falls officials have previously raised concerns about the intersection.
