Bristol Borough Education Fund Contributes to Teachers’ Projects


The Bristol Borough Education Fund recently made a sizeable contribution to Bristol Borough School District teachers to support their recommended projects.

The $7,500 contribution is split up to support four projects. Officials said $4,000 is going to support the Writer’s Voice Project, $1,950 will be used for Drama Club equipment, $800 will be used for the World War Two and Holocaust unit of study and $750 will go towards the math night project.

Since the Bristol Borough Education Fund’s creation in 2008 by the Grundy Foundation, the fund has contributed $65,463 to teachers

Organizers said the funding is made possible through endowment growth, teacher payroll reductions and fundraisers.
