The long standing area dining institution is in the middle of a rebranding.
Starting in June, the Blue Fountain Diner on East Lincoln Highway in Middletown will be known as the Langhorne Speedway Diner. The name comes from the racetrack, which stood and operated in the area from 1926 until 1971, according to diner staff.

Drawing upon the historical significance of the racetrack that is still talked about in the racing community, the rebranded diner hopes to be viewed as an improvement to the Blue Fountain Diner.
The rebranding includes a ton of changes. The menu is being updated, the exterior of the building is getting an face-lift and the inside has already been totally remodeled.
According to Nargiza Aydinova, the manager of the diner, the rebranding is coming because a lot of people in the area don’t realize that the restaurant has actually changed owners. Around three years ago, Servet Okusal’s father bought the diner. Now, the family-owned diner is in the middle of a rebrand so that everyone is aware of the change.

“We have so many people who come in and did not know that the diner has changed hands,” Aydinova explained.
Beginning with a grand opening on June 1, the expanded hours and new menu of the Langhorne Speedway Diner will make the Blue Fountain a thing of the past, Aydinova said.

The diner already has a new chef on staff, changed the color of the seating throughout the business and begun working on specials for the menu.
