Middletown residents will have a chance to sit down with police officers Saturday morning.

The department will host a “Coffee With a Cop” event at the Chick-Fil-A at 2424 Lincoln Highway from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

“No agenda or speeches, just a chance ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood,” an invitation reads.

The township has worked over the past two years to interact with residents outside of calls for service and has hosted a “Coffee With a Cop” event in the past.

Around the same time, Middletown and Inspire Federal Credit Union are working together to host a free shredder event in the Oxford Valley Mall parking lot from 9 a.m. until noon.
