A woman who acted as a look out for a botched robbery attempt that left her boyfriend’s brother dead was sentenced Friday.
Chasity Demi Ramos, 26, of Bristol Borough, pleaded guilty to her role in the November 15 botched robbery attempt at Porfirio’s II Pizza in the Skyline Shopping Center in Middletown’s Levittown section Friday before a judge. She was sentenced to serve one day less than one year to one day less than two years in county prison. In addition, she will also serve a concurrent five-year probation sentence, the Doylestown Intelligencer reported.

“I’m really sorry for all of it,” Ramos said in court. “I want to do better.”
According to prosecutors, Ramos and Robin Lynn Soto, 52, of Middletown, scoped out the pizza shop before Justin Rose, 22, who is Ramos’ boyfriend, and his brother Shawn Rose, 24, walked in with realistic-looking pellet guns in a failed robbery attempt.
Shawn Rose was shot dead and Justin Rose was shot in the neck, suffering life-long injuries, after threatening the two employees and a lone customer, police said.

The 35-year-old customer seized the opportunity to defend himself when Shawn Rose looked away after pistol-whipping him and pulled his personal Glock .45 handgun from his jacket, shooting both men, police said.
Justin Rose, who is awaiting trial along with mother, was speaking with Ramos on the phone during the botched robbery, authorities said.

Ramos was pregnant at the time of the robbery and already had children. She also has a retail theft in her criminal history.
