Motorcyclist Hurt In Friday Evening Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt last Friday in a crash along Veterans Highway (Route 413).

Police said the motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a crash that happened around 9 p.m. along Veterans Highway in the area of Racquet Club Apartments.

The driver that caused the wreck, which left the motorcycle down an embankment, was possibly intoxicated, police said.

The driver was taken by the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment.
