According to police, on Monday shortly before 4 a.m., they responded to the Penn Trailer Park in the 1400 block of Bristol Pike in the Morrisville section for the report of a man holding a knife to two females.
Police, who observed the front door to the trailer knocked off the hinges, announced their presence before two women ran from the back bedroom, informing officers that Petroski was still inside.
As noted in a court document, one of the women told police that just a few hours before, she had received threatening messages from Petroski The messages made her feel unsafe and prompted her to text her friend and have her come over. When the second woman arrived to the home, they went to the back bedroom where they heard a loud bang and saw Petroski enter the bedroom wielding a kitchen knife.

The women stated that Petroski threatened to kill them several times and even told them they could not leave the room. Petroski’s behavior prompted the visiting female to text her friend, who was able to reach out to police, according to court papers.
Police allege that when Petroski heard officers, he hid the kitchen knife he was holding under a mattress.
